On Monday, October 5th, Utzon Center hosts Architecture Day with this year's theme "Preserve More" – a celebration of the buildings that already shape our landscape. You receive free admission to the museum until 5 p.m., where you can join guided tours through the building, experience the documentary Jørn Utzon – The Man and the Architect with coffee and a croissant or a glass of sparkling wine, and get an exclusive preview of the forthcoming exhibition Afterlife. This exhibition explores how existing buildings can be reinvented and given new life through transformative interventions.
The whole family is welcome – children and young people can explore architecture through the interactive experience area THE CLUMSY CITY, which is open all day. The day concludes with a long-table dinner at Restaurant JØRN, where the kitchen has created a special menu for the event with transformed vegetables and grapes taking centre stage.
