Want to learn the basics of embroidery? This course is for you with no experience and takes you from start to finish with the essential techniques.
You'll get plenty of practice with classic stitches such as forward stitch, backstitch, outline stitch and chain stitch. The teaching covers both theory and practice: what is free embroidery, which materials do you need, and how do you combine different stitches for your own unique expression. You'll also learn to draw and transfer simple patterns to fabric, so you can quickly make your own designs.
Mette, who is trained as a tailor, guides you through the processes and shows you a wide range of techniques that you can make your own.
