The organization "Efterladte efter selvmord" (Those left behind after suicide), Northern Jutland chapter, invites you to a café evening with a talk and community gathering. Torben and Lene Jensen from Brabrand share their personal story about losing their 29-year-old son four years ago during a joint trip.
Their talk addresses finding comfort and forgiveness after such a profound loss, guilt and shame before and after grief, and how couples process grief differently — one through organizing photos and life narratives, the other through nature and writing poetry.
The event creates a safe space for those bereaved by suicide, where you can share your feelings of grief, loss, and difficult emotions with others who understand. Everything discussed remains confidential among participants.
Coffee, tea, and cake are served. There is also an opportunity to borrow books from the event's library — if you wish to borrow a specific title, contact [email protected].
