Cinemates – Klara and the Sun

Cinemates is Biffen's own film club, where movie enthusiasts gather around great cinema experiences at low, accessible prices. If you're curious, you can try it with a free starter ticket – no sign-up required!

On 26 October, the club screens the sci-fi thriller Klara and the Sun starring Jenna Ortega. The film follows Klara, a robot purchased for a sick teenage girl, and explores themes of loneliness and what it means to be human through a profound existential lens.

Arrive at 6 pm – simply find a ticket seller and get your entry. After the film, complimentary mocktails are served, and there is cosy conversation on the balcony, so both solo visitors and groups share a common experience.

Cinemates screens new films each selected Monday of the month, with no membership required. If you are 35 or younger, a ticket costs only 65 kr.
