Christmas experiences for the whole family
The Christmas walk guides you through magical light landscapes and Christmas environments. The legendary Christmas tunnel in the aviary invites children and adults to write a wish or greeting, which floats above your head among thousands of previous wishes. At Lemur Square, you'll find a nostalgic Christmas market with a merry-go-round and a photo exhibition about Christmas in Aalborg through the ages. Meet Father Christmas in his village, admire the large Christmas tree on the lawn, and watch zookeepers' festively decorated golf carts cruising through the gardens.
Lights, scents, and cozy rest spots
At the African savanna, a calm light experience awaits with illuminated trees and installations creating atmosphere under the winter sky. Throughout the garden, you can warm yourself by crackling fires, enjoy hot drinks, and visit dining spots featuring Christmas specialties, including seasonal offerings from Starbucks in the Orangery.
