Kastbye is a dance-oriented live band that fuses pop, funk, disco and electronic elements into energetic concerts for a broad audience. With catchy melodies, sweaty slap bass, funky guitar and tight grooves, the band creates an immersive concert experience where audiences can listen, dance and sing along. The musicians play with infectious energy and musical assurance that resonates throughout the performance.
Lyrics in Danish and English explore love, life choices and universal human experiences. In August 2024, Kastbye released the EP Here We Are featuring six audience-friendly tracks that, alongside a solid catalogue, form the foundation of flexible live sets. The band consists of experienced East Jutland musicians: Line Riiskjær Høi (vocals), Carsten Overbye (bass, vocals, keys), Henrik Vinter Billeschou (guitar) and Torben Kastbjerg (drums).
