Join a specially staged communal long-table dinner exploring what we need to know culturally, humanly, and collectively when the world becomes uncertain. Beyond the official prepping checklist – water, batteries, and canned food – preparedness is also about doing things together: knowing your neighbors, telling stories, singing a song, bringing people together, and creating meaning and hope when normal structures are challenged.
Over two hours, a special prepping menu is served for both body and conversation. The dinner is facilitated through questions and techniques that open space for different perspectives and experiences. You need no prior knowledge of preparedness – the event seeks diverse voices, experiences, and ideas. All you need to bring is openness to listen, think aloud, eat, and participate actively. The conversation will be documented in photographs and audio.
