This presentation explores the crucial role of sleep in teenagers' well-being, learning, and mental health. Many young people get too little sleep, but the consequences of sleep deprivation are often overlooked. A psychologist and a sleep consultant share their expertise on what happens in the body and brain during sleep deficiency and present practical strategies you can implement as a parent to help your child get both more and better sleep—especially when demands, screens, and social relationships take up more space than ever before.
Practical info: The presentation is aimed primarily at parents with children in both primary school and upper secondary education, but children are also welcome to attend. Admission is free. The event takes place at Aalborg Bibliotekerne.
