Rabal, an emerging orchestra on the Danish folk music scene, invites you to an evening filled with dance and tradition – but without barriers to new forms of expression. Despite being in their mid-twenties, the band members have already performed for dancing for over thirty years.
The orchestra features Signe Kirkgaard and Trine Schultz Jørgensen on violin, Anna Østerby on accordion, Lukas Hainer Kjær on piano, and Nikolaj Steensbæk Jørgensen on bass. They play their favorite dances and invite everyone – couples in love, curious souls, young and old – to an evening where imagination sets the limits.
