NUT – Nordjyllands Unge Tonekunstnere presents a program of works for flute and piano by outstanding Baltic composers: Arvo Pärt, Gundega Smite, Maija Einfelde, Madara Kalnina, Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis and Dace Aperane. The concert also features a world premiere of a solo flute piece by Danish composer Jens Astrup.
The music is performed by talented flutist Sofia Kayaya and pianist Lili Olesen. Arvo Pärt is known for his minimalist composition style and spiritual expression; the other Baltic composers likewise offer original and nuanced works that explore the artistic possibilities of the flute and piano.
The concert takes place in the Council Hall at Nørresundby Gamle Rådhus.
Ticket prices: 150 kr. Young people under 25 receive free admission. Alternatively, you can purchase membership for 300 kr., which provides access to all concerts in the autumn season.
