Waves up North invites you to Open Night – the opening evening of the OpenDays Festival, a 3-day event for contemporary composition and sound art held for the 17th consecutive year. A curious encounter with boundary-pushing and innovative artistic expression.

Program

  • Eirik Moland (b. 1959): Overblikk (2019) – Luft Jord Ildvann Epilog. Soloist: Ida Marie Sørmo, flute
  • Ivan Olsen (b. 1975): Friktion for solo piano (2024). Soloist: Maria Eshpai, piano
  • Martin Knakkergaard (b. 1955): En passant d'entrainement for soprano and alto saxophone (2022). Soloist: Pia Munch, saxophone
  • Louis Franz Aguirre (b. 1968): Noviembre for voice and piano (1998). Soloists: Diana Haugland, mezzo-soprano and Arne Jørgen Fæø, piano
