The acclaimed duo Schæfer – Anna Skov (vocals) and Emil Mors (keyboards) – has established itself as one of Denmark's most exciting new music acts. With socially conscious and intricately crafted songs, they explore the boundaries between indie-pop, dream rock and jazz with both wit and intensity.
On stage, the duo expands into an explosive seven-piece ensemble, where every musician brings full energy and joy of playing. The sound is innovative – trumpet solos, vocal harmonies and uncompromising dynamics create a concert experience described as exceptionally well performed and composed. GAFFA has repeatedly given their concerts five stars.
Schæfer has toured extensively across Danish festivals – including Smukfest, Nibe Festival and Spot Festival – and their debut album 'Hundeliv' has received airtime on P4, P6 BEAT, P5 and P8 Jazz with significant media recognition.
