This event transforms Harry Potter-related objects into artworks expressing solidarity with transgender people and trans women – in response to J.K. Rowling's political activism against transgender people in the UK. The project is a powerful statement that trans women are real women, and that the organizers support trans women's right to exist and be recognized.
The event is part of Orange Days in Aalborg and is conducted in collaboration between the UN Association Northern Jutland, Students for Amnesty, and Fredsby Aalborg.
