Bereaved by Suicide, North Jutland Local Chapter, invites you to a Sunday café with lunch and the talk The Faces of Grief by Dorte Prang. Based on the loss of her son, Søren, in 2004, she speaks about the many expressions of grief, the path forward in life, and how people around a grieving person can offer support. Dorte Prang published the book Livets fodspor in August 2023, a personal account of loss and gradually finding light again.
The event takes place at De Frivilliges Hus, Hadsundvej 35, 9000 Aalborg, on the 1st floor, and there is an elevator. The Sunday café begins at 13.00 with lunch in the kitchen, after which participants move to the hall. The talk starts at 14.00, and the day ends no later than 17.00. The programme also includes a welcome by Ellen Bæk, a brief introduction of participants, dialogue about the day’s talk, and coffee/tea with a little something sweet. The participation fee is 100 kr., including lunch and afternoon coffee, and registration is required no later than Tuesday 22 September at 18.00 due to food ordering.
