SUNRAKER is a Copenhagen-based alt-rock band fusing cinematic weight with post-punk pulse. The band navigates between shoegaze's atmospheric soundscapes and the raw power of an intense moshpit – a sonic world where melancholy transforms into drive. Alongside vocalist and composer Sophus Alf (known for his work on the Deep Rock Galactic soundtrack), the group features Louie Sears on guitar, Mikkel Skibbye on drums, and Lasse Mortensen on bass.
Drawing inspiration from The Cure, Mew, Jeff Buckley, and Deftones, SUNRAKER creates powerful, emotionally charged compositions with a global perspective. Following well-received singles and a critically acclaimed live EP, their debut album arrives in spring. Their stage presence blends fragility with raw energy into a unified artistic force – a show where vulnerability meets noise.
