Amnesty Aalborg and DANLATAM invite children to participate in an important solidarity event. In connection with the UN's International Children's Day, children from North Jutland are invited to draw greetings to Guerreras por la Amazonía – a group of courageous Ecuadorian girls and women aged 10–20 who are fighting against the environmental destruction caused by oil extraction in their home region, the Amazon.
The local women are protesting daily damage from gas flaring that pollutes their area with toxic chemicals, odor, noise and light. Amnesty will explain this important cause at children's level.

All children's drawings will be sent to Ecuador as a sign of international solidarity.
