Tigeroak is a duo that fuses elements of 2000s neo-soul, electronic futuristic ambience, acoustic jazz, and poetic lyrics into a wholly unique sound. Their music is characterized by depth, seriousness, and beauty – a combination rarely heard.
The duo consists of an open, heartfelt vocal and a singing guitar combined with production that creates melodies and atmospheres so light and organic that the music often feels ethereal like dreams or memories. Tigeroak invites the audience into their personal story with tales of friendships, uncertainties, and growth through youth. Since their first release in 2019, they have been sincere and unpolished, yet equally ambitious as they are today.
Their artistic journey has been remarkable. They have received three DMA nominations, winning the award for best jazz single with the song "Living and Living" – also the title of their debut album from 2023. Their debut album was recorded at Abbey Road in London as well as in places like Beijing, Paris, Berlin, Oslo, and New York. They have performed worldwide both solo and with a full band, and received five stars from Politiken and six stars from Gaffa for their live concerts – including a performance at Roskilde Festival 2024.
