Tove Ditlevsen was one of Denmark's most significant poets and a master at depicting human emotional shifts. In this lecture, literature scholar and critic Lilian Munk Rösing explores both the concrete places in Ditlevsen's life and work and the paths she took to pursue her greatest passion: writing.
The lecture is based on Munk Rösing's book Tove Ditlevsen's Paths (Gyldendal, 2025), which is an intimate portrait of Ditlevsen and an exploration of her significance as a literary artist. Lilian Munk Rösing is a lecturer in literature studies at the University of Copenhagen and a critic for Politiken.
