Do you dream of learning a craft that few master? The wooden ship Betty is an active association that maintains and operates a historic wooden vessel – and they're looking for volunteers to join work days. You'll have the chance to work with wood, engines, electrics, rigging, and sails while learning from experienced members who are passionate about the ship and sailing.
Both beginners and experienced people are welcome. You'll meet people who share an interest in craftsmanship and maritime adventures, and each work day contributes to Betty's ability to continue taking the association out on exciting sailing expeditions.
Practical: Free trial session. Sign up by contacting the association – whether you're a beginner or experienced makes no difference.
