Aalborg Orienteering Club invites you to the fourth race in the 2026 Winter Cup series, consisting of a total of 6 orienteering races throughout the Aalborg area. The races are arranged as part of club training but differ from regular training by featuring electronic timing with Emit chips and mandatory registration.
Program and courses
Free start between 17.30 and 18.00, with runners on the same course starting at least one minute apart. You can choose from four course lengths: long hard (5-7 km), short hard (3-4 km), intermediate (4-5 km), or easy (approx. 3 km).
Registration and fees
Registration closes on the Sunday before the race at 24.00. You may also show up without prior registration, but risk that a map for your preferred course may not be available. The race is free for members of Aalborg Orienteering Club and other Nou-affiliated clubs. For members of other orienteering clubs, it costs 20 kr., and for other runners 50 kr.
After the race
After the event, hot juice and small cakes are served. When the entire Winter Cup series is finished, a draw is held among all participants. The more races you complete, the greater your chances of winning.
