Step into your poetic self and pause the pace of everyday life. Sisters Hope invites you to an immersive sensory and performative experience that combines inner exploration with active artistic engagement.
The experience begins with The Poetic Self, a guided poetic meditation where you are invited to explore your own inner, poetic landscape. This exercise is at the heart of Sisters Hope's distinctive performance method and creates space for deepening, reflection, and sensory presence. From there, you move into The Archive – Sisters Hope's performative archive, now integrated into the museum as part of the Sisters Hope & Kunsten exhibition. Here the archive is activated through performative actions that build on the poetic exercise, and you are not merely a spectator but a participating member of the work.
Archival & Poetic Self Exercise is created in dialogue with Kunsten's art collection, where Sisters Hope has transformed classical works through their unique sensory universe – a poetic counterpoint to our stressed everyday life. You can participate in one of four performances: September 2 at 3:30 PM–4:10 PM or 4:20 PM–5:00 PM, or October 18 at 2:00 PM–2:40 PM or 2:50 PM–3:30 PM. Your ticket grants access to the museum from 10 AM, so you can arrive early and explore other exhibitions.
Prices: 20 kr. for annual pass holders and companions; 130–170 kr. (incl. museum entry) for others. Annual pass holders often pay the same low price for an accompanying guest. Ticket purchases are refunded only in case of cancellation.
