Let your whole family fill autumn break with artistic exploration and creative experiences at Kunsten. From October 10-18, the museum invites you on an exciting journey through both new and classic works, with special emphasis on making art an active adventure for all ages.
For children and families
Through Kunst-Lab, children can create their own creations inspired by the Ovartaci exhibition. Kunsten's treasure hunt leads the whole family around the museum's rooms with creative challenges, while emoji hunts and detective missions in Inuuteq Storch's Heart Beats Hope turn art into adventure. Guldrummet offers artistic activities, and the Kunstkuffert takes children into Frida Orupabo's debut exhibition in Denmark.
For adults
Experience Frida Orupabo's first solo exhibition in Denmark and the long-awaited return of Vilhelm Lundstrøm. Autumn break is also the last opportunity for Sisters Hope & Kunsten, closing on October 18 — the same day as the sensory performance Archival & Poetic Self Exercise invites the audience into Sisters Hope's poetic universe. Guided tours through the year's major exhibitions Ovartaci - I Began as a Bird of Paradise and Frida Orupabo - Get close enough and you can't see also take place.
Practical information
October 10-18, daily 10-17 (Wednesday and Thursday until 21). Children under 18 have free admission. Annual card holders for Klub Kunsten + Utzon receive free admission for themselves and one companion.
