The Manikins - A Work in Progress is not just theatre — it is a transformative journey where the boundaries between reality and fantasy become blurred. In the unique solo experience, you become the sole focus: two performers and only you. You step into Dr. Ligotti's office, where you are to receive therapy for your vivid nightmares — or are you actually participating in an experimental art work? Who is the patient, director, author, or character? You are seen, drawn in, and presented with choices that continuously reshape the story. The performance is described as a fusion of David Lynch's Twin Peaks and Christopher Nolan's Inception — a living puzzle where you yourself are a piece, and the boundary between dream and reality constantly shifts.
Two performance formats:
- Solo Experience (19 Jan–27 Feb): You are the only audience member in a 1.5-hour intense, personal journey. Age limit 18 years.
- Audience Experience (23–27 Feb): Limited evenings where you, as a seated audience member, observe another person's solo journey — like a fly on the wall in a secret experiment.
Admission: 245 DKK + possible fees. Tickets must be booked in advance.
