OCR (Obstacle Course Running) is a dynamic and challenging form of training that combines running, CrossFit elements, and high-intensity exercise with obstacle courses. This training is designed to prepare participants for OCR races such as Nordic Race, Tough Trails, and similar adventure events.
The trial session begins with a thorough introduction to the obstacles and technique training (15–30 minutes), followed by a 5–10 minute warm-up. The main workout then follows, tailored individually or in small groups of 2–3 people. Everyone will be assigned a partner, and instructors will ensure the training is scaled to suit each person's level and fitness. Running or other cardio work – such as rowing, ski erg, or assault bike – forms an integral part of the session.
Bring indoor shoes, water, and a heart rate monitor if you have one. Most importantly: bring enthusiasm and a willingness to train alongside motivated people in an inclusive environment.
Organized by OCR Nordjylland.
